Peggy Jean Reeves, 75, passed away December 4, 2023, at her home in Pontotoc. She was retired after 48 years, as a ward secretary and heart monitor tech, from North Mississippi Health Services in 2014. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and friends, going to auctions with her husband, coloring, watching the Hallmark Channel and Gunsmoke, and reading on her iPad. Peggy and Donnie were married for 38 years, still acted like newlyweds and loved each other very much.
Survivors include her husband, Donald “Donnie” Reeves; her daughters, Lacresia Kimery (Andy), Crystal Reeves, and Donna Culver; her sons, Adrian Shook (Michelle) and Jessie Reeves (Megan); grandchildren, Kevin Crosby (Ashlyn), Kimberly Parker, Olivia Keith, Hayden Hughey, Jaxton Reeves, Brinsley Reeves, Dakota Reeves, Lindsay Reeves, Quint Reeves, Jaklya McIntosh, Javarious McIntosh, Aaryanna Spraggins, Sara Adams, and Mila Shook; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, Trannie Darnell, Sr. and Lucille Bowen; brother, Trannie Darnell (Don), Jr.; two sisters, Mary Joyce Ferguson and Glenda Diane Reeves.
