  Peggy Jean Norman Davis Profile PhotoPeggy Jean Norman Davis, 75, resident of Williamsport, TN, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 22, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brother Allen Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow at Potts Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.

Born on October 26, 1948, in Columbia, TN, she was the daughter of the late Maynard Norman and the late Margaret Louise Kelley Norman. Mrs. Davis married the love of her life, Jerry W. Davis on May 19, 1972. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was a member of Mission Chapel Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Lorrie (Jonathan) O’Guin of Williamsport; grandchildren, Breanna O’Guin of Williamsport, Kaylee (Patrick) O’Guin Jones   of Kinston, NC, Natalie O’Guin of Williamsport; siblings, Grace Chumley, Erwin, TN, Marie Cummings of Culleoka, Tommy Norman of Columbia; and several loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Norman; and her very special in-laws, Sanford and Sarah Davis.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan O’Guin, Patrick Jones, Andy Davis, Daxton Davis, Steve Davis, Jonathan Davis, Bo Kirkup, and Bo McCandless. Honorary Pallbearers include Brandon Johnson, Mike Teal, Edwin Lavender, Bobby Hargrove, Tony Busby, and Howard White.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her nephew, Andy Davis and his wife Katrina, who Peggy thought of as her own children.
