Peggy Jean Aday – Obituary

Peggy Jean Aday, age 72, of Cherokee, died Monday, May 11, 2015. Her family will receive friends Wednesday, 6-9 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee.
Her funeral service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Red Rock Church of Christ with David Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park.

Peggy was a member of Red Rock and Cox Boulevard Churches and was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Aday. Mama was a virtuous woman with a very big heart and a strong faith in God. She loved the Church and was willing to share that love with everyone who would listen. She cared for many foster children during her life and loved them as she loved her own.

She is survived by her sons; Spencer Aday (Kathryn), and Chris Aday, daughter; Jacqui Horton (Allen), brothers; George Howard and James Howard, sister; Janie Jones; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Dennis Bailey, Robin Speegle, Kevin Williams, Tim Jones, Dillion Grissom and John Hardy.
