Peggy Hallmark, 68, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
She was from Haleyville, AL. She greatly enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren, decorating and just always helping others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Lamar Hallmark; father, Odis Campbell; mother, Matalene Campbell; and brother, Mac Campbell (Effie Mae).
She is survived by her sons, David Hallmark lll (Jennifer), Wade Defoor (Cherrylyn), and Heath Defoor (Shae); grandchildren, Savannah and Brelynn Hallmark, Sydney and Landon Defoor; sisters; Martha Mullins (Dan), Stella Vickery, Jane Kessler (Randy), and Darlene Moyer (George); aunt, Willodean Harris; numerous cousins, family, and friends.
Family meant the world to her and she was a loving devoted wife, mother, and Grammie.
She will be deeply missed.
Pallbearers will be Collin Long, Evan Long, Donovan Fitzgerald, and Austin Elliott.
