Mrs. Freeman’s friends and family called her by Gayle, but she was also known by Peg to her Daddy and Brother. She was an avid gardener and always had a beautiful garden full of beautiful flowers. She had a dog of some sort her whole life and her dogs were known to live a pampered life, well loved and cared for. She was a wonderful cook, and no one ever left her house hungry. She loved music of all kinds, but her favorites were Elvis Presley and Merle Haggard, the sound of their voices filling the house as she worked around the house cleaning and cooking, making our house a home. She worked outside of the home too for many years. Her last job being a house mother at Baptist School of Nursing where she was loved and adored by all the nursing students and staff. She never met a stranger and always put her family and other people before herself. The Most important thing is that she loved Jesus her Lord and Savior. Because of this we have faith the Jesus met her at the gates of heaven, and she is pain and sorrow free. No more worries, no more tears. We will miss her deeply but hope to see her again.
