Peggy Frye Hopkins, 72, of New Market, passed away on Friday.
Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and she loved traveling and spending time on the beach.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Glen Hopkins and Donny Hopkins; Her father, Harrison Frye; Her grandson, Alex Potter.
Surviving family members include her husband, Bill Hopkins; Her daughter, Lisa Potter; Her son, Scott (Julie) Hopkins; Her grandchildren: Justin Hopkins, Whitney Hopkins, Michelle Hopkins, Kate Potter, Jarrod Potter, Josh Maiden, Ryan Maiden, and Megan Maiden; Three-great-grandchildren; Her sister, Vickie (Tommy) Fowler; Her daughter-in-law, Bit Hopkins.
The family has planned a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Cancer Society or St. Judes Children’s Hospitals.
