Mrs. Peggy Ann Shelton Wright age 71 of Athens, AL passed away Tuesday May 19th, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Limestone County to Joseph Andrew and Florence Elizabeth Shelton on April 12th, 1944.
Her services will be Saturday May 23rd, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Limestone Chapel Funeral home with Robert Fudge and Jimmy Woodroof officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday May 23rd, 2015 from 12:00PM- 1:45PM at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Andrew and Florence Elizabeth Shelton and brother Charles Shelton.
She is survived by her husband Tom Ed Wright of Athens, Al. One daughter Chenequa Clayton and husband Brett of Mt. Juliet, TN. Three grandchildren Hannah Clayton, Ryleigh Clayton, and MaryCollins Clayton. Her brother in law Miles Wright of Decatur, Al. Two sister in laws Doris Gafford of Athens, Al and Betty Norwood of Athens, AL.
Mrs. Wright was a member of Ephesus Church of Christ.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Wright will be Miles Wright, Don Gafford, Rick Johnson, Thomas Wales, Bob Brooks, and Freddie Wright.
