Peggy Ann Patterson, age 77, of Russellville, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024, at North Alabama Medical Center. She was born on December 19, 1946, in Red Bay to Ronnie and Emma (Garrison) Smith.
She worked as a CNA and physical therapist and retired after 26 years at Generations of Red Bay. She attended My Father’s House Church. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Lee Patterson; parents, Ronnie “Buck” & Emma (Garrison); sisters, Betty Sartain and Evonne Petree; son-in-law, Joseph McCalpin; and nephew, Randy Petree; and grandchildren, Misty Bearden Scott, Brooke & Jessie Scott.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, James Patterson (Teresa), Rickey Patterson (Pamela), Bobby Patterson (Angie); daughter, Patricia McCalpin; sister, Abilene Vinson; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is not planned at this time.
