Peggy Alene Colwell 73, of Elkmont,AL died Monday, September 16, 2019 at her risidence.
Born Thursday, August 29, 1946 in Athens, AL, she was the daughter of Charlie and Irene Coats.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thelton Colwell; brothers, John Roy Coats, R.B. Coats, and Robert Coats; sisters, Pauline Coats and Charlie Will Lewter.
She is survived by daughter, Connie (Dwight) McNeese, Ardmore, AL; son, Bruce Wayne Colwell, Elkmont, AL; sisters, Gladys Dunn and Jenny Rogers; grandchildren, Alesha McNeese, Donald McNeese and Allison Colwell; great-grandchild, Avayah Miller.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 3:00 PM with Bro. Doug Colwell officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
