Pearl Vaughan Booth McCarley  Funeral service for Pearl Vaughan Booth McCarley, 78, will be Monday, March 11, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Pope, Bro. Barry Dunn and Bro. Doug Wells officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, March 11, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. McCarley passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at her residence. She was born November 12, 1945, in Morgan County, to Dewitt Vaughan Booth and Minnie Rea Thompson Booth, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. McCarley was a Secretary and Bookkeeper for Hartselle High School for 20 years and was a very active member and faithful servant of God, attending the First Methodist Church in Hartselle. She faithfully taught Sunday School for many years. She enjoyed working with her flowers and making arrangements for her church and loved mowing her yard. She especially loved all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a “Special Thanks” to Cullman Regional Hospice, especially nurse Brittany Lynn. They would also like to thank Jordan Dial and Elizabeth Johnson for their loving care.

Husband of over 60 years – Loyd McCarley

Son – Scott McCarley (Gina)

Daughter – Rhonda McCarley Miller (Tim)

Siblings – Sally B. Cheatham
William Booth (Peggy)
Annie B. Lemmons
Lucy Booth

Grandchildren –
Hallie Vaughan Johnson (Spencer),
Timothy Waid Miller (Abby),
William Dewitt Miller and
Nickolas William McCarley.

Great Grandchildren –
Oliver Knox Johnson,
Izabelle Pearl Johnson and
Hayes Booth Miller.

Pallbearers will be Waid Miller, Will Miller, Spencer Johnson, Nick McCarley, Rickey Burrell, Tim Miller, and Kody Vest.
