Pearl Davidson Dooley  Our beloved, Pearl Dooley the second child born in Tupelo, Mississippi to the union of her parents Charley Davidson and Annie B. Vaughn Davidson on June 2, 1932. She was reared by Margaret Davidson as her own child in Tupelo, Mississippi. She attended George Washington Carver High School where she once held the honorable position as Miss Carver High.

Pearl Dooley earthly life was departed and her Eternal Life began on June 9, 2019 at the North Mississippi Medical Center of Tupelo, Mississippi surrounded by the love and devotion of her family.

Pearl professed his hope in Jesus Christ at White Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she remained faithful until her health began to fail.

Pearl was a former employee of Two Sister’s Clothing Company, North Mississippi Medical Center, McDougal Rehabilitation Center and provided child care for many children in the community.   This was her passion, taking care of the children. Known as Mama Pearl to so many. Her other passion was cooking, loved talking on the phone, reading, coloring and writing. If you just so happen to stop by her home, she always had a open door and made you feel so welcome and at home in her presence. She had a heart of gold.

Pearl Davidson Dooley cheerfulness and devotion to family and friends will be cherished by her devotion children; Daniel (Brenda) Jenkins, Mitchell (Annis) Jenkins, Kimberly Dooley , Eunice Williams all of Tupelo, Mississippi, one sister; Leatrice Harris of Chicago, Illinois, her son-in-law, Victory Middlebrooks of Tupelo, Mississippi, fifteen grandchildren, ten great-grand children and a host of other relatives, niece, nephews and a community of friends.

Pearl was preceded in death by her, parents, one son; Othniel Jeenkins, Jr., one daughter; Rita Davidson Middlebrooks and the mother that reared her; Margaret Davidson, her brother; James Vaughn.
