Payson Jack Corrigan passed away in Huntsville Hospital on Monday, June 17, 2013 after being born prematurely on June 6, 2013.
Payson touched many lives in his short 11 days that he was with us. We will never forget his strong fighting spirit and we will miss him every single day.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkins Funeral Home, Florence. The service to remember Payson’s life will be Friday
at 11:00 a.m. in the Elkins Chapel. Rev. Brett Pitman will officiate. He will be buried in the Florence Cemetery.
He is survived by his parents Joseph and Kaitlin Corrigan of Florence; grandparents Alan Rhudy (Tonya) of Russellville, Katrina (Royce) Wray of Russellville, Ed Corrigan of Florence and Monica Hunt (Bart) of Florence; great-grandparents Milton and Ida Rhudy of Guin, AL, and Anna Pettigrew of Savannah, TN; aunts and uncles Anna Farris (Justin) of Augusta, GA and Seth Rhudy (Kelsey Gurganus) of Russellville; step-aunts and uncles Chad and Courtney Wray, Kelley Cox, and Lauren and Dillon Williams, all of Russellville.
Pallbearers will be Seth Rhudy and Justin Farris.
The family would like to thank Dr. Frazier and the OB/GYN staff at ECM Hospital and Huntsville Hospital NICU.
