Pauline Walls Nix Pauline Walls Nix departed this life on Sunday morning, November 27, 2022, at her home, in Laconia.

She was born Sunday, March 12, 1922, in Laconia, Fayette County, Tennessee, daughter of the late James Onie Walls and Nannie Bell Pulliam Walls, living most of her life in Laconia and 25-30 years in Memphis. She worked as a care giver and enjoyed traveling, cooking and being around her family, whom she dearly loved. She married Hilliard P. Nix on May 25, 1973 and he preceded her in death on September 19, 1974. Mrs. Nix was a member of Mt. Carmel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a son and his wife, David G. Tubbs (Nana) of Oakland; a brother, Teddy Walls of Laconia and and sister, Alice Ferguson of Olive Branch, MS; a grandchild, Beke Berelidze; and two great grandchildren, Elene and Lile Berelidze. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Nix was preceded in death by her former husband, Glenn Tubbs; and her brothers and sisters, Howell Walls, James Walls, Paul Walls, Janie Deckelman, Doreen Ross, Herbert Walls and Bobbie Moore.
