Pauline G. Brewer, 89, passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, at Russellville Hospital. She lived most of her life in Franklin County and was a member of Spruce Pine Baptist Church. She was retired from Russellville Sportswear. The visitation will be today from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pat Murray and Larry Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Spruce Pine Community Cemetery. Survivors include children, Larry Brewer and wife, Sandi, Glenna Faye McDonald, and Sue Thorn and husband, Jimmy; sister, Billy Jean Voss; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great- grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by husband, G. H. Brewer Jr.; parents, Rufus and Minnie Mitchell Gist; and son, James R. Brewer. Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, will be directing.
