Pauline Burns Cox, 95, of Iuka, MS, died on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. She enjoyed crocheting, making beaded jewelry, and sewing. Pauline was an avid bargain shopper and liked to listen to bluegrass and gospel music. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. She was known for her world famous hush puppies, enjoyed fish fry get togethers, and being around her family. She is survived by her children, Larry Cox (Pat), Carol Bonds, and Terry Cox (Sherry); her grandchildren, Keith Cox, Monica Moody (Allen), Jimmy Joslin, Michelle Cole, Leslie Paul Hinton (Tonya), Cortney Harper, Veronica Potts (Sim), Lucas Rhodes, and Justin Cox (Ja’Ree); her great-grandchildren, Chad Durham (Elizabeth), Dakota Tucker (Destiny), Taylor Hinton, Savanna Hinton, and Lauren Tucker; several great-great-granchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Caroll Cox; her parents, Thomas Hayes and Mary Willie Stout Burns; her children, Laura Joslin and Patricia Rhodes; and her siblings. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, December 23, 2023, from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M., at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M., Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Raburn Coln and Bro. Jack Whitley. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Cox, Chad Durham, Keith Cox, Leslie Paul Hinton, Lucas Rhodes, Jimmy Joslin, Sim Potts, and Allen Moody. Donations may be made in Pauline’s honor to the First Freewill Baptist Church Building Fund.
