Paulette Yelverton Harper Paulette Yelverton Harper, age 75, a resident of Columbia, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023, at her residence.

 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at Maury Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with entombment to follow.  A visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Maury Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

 

Born on November 1, 1947, in Manhattan, New York, she was the daughter of the late Charles Yelverton and the late Virginia Isbrul.  Paulette loved to watch judge shows and TV, laughing, shopping with catalogs, and her quiet time.  She was a very insightful lady, took nothing from no one and also very joyful, forgiving, understanding and devout Christian.  Most of all, she loved her family very much.

 

Paulette is survived by her children, Ashli Johnson of Columbia, Veroncia Battle of Spring Hill, Sherrel Yelverton of New York, Anthony Armstead of New York, Lamesha Yelverton of New York, Nicole Early of Missouri, and Yolanda Harper of Louisiana, sister, Mamie Choyce of Michigan, Loretta Yelverton of New York, twenty-two grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Harper, daughter, Shelene Yelverton, sisters, Jeanette Yelverton, Valarie Yelverton, Jessie Yelverton and brothers, Robert Yelverton, Kenneth Yelverton, and Charles Yelverton.

 

Pallbearers will be Jourmylin Johnson, Bobby Ray Johnson, Jaron Harper and David Early.
