Paulette Morris Norris – Obituary

Paulette Morris Norris, 75, passed away Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 at her home. She was born Feb. 11, 1942 in Bruce, Mississippi to the late parents of R.W. Morris and Lucille Black Morris. Paulette formerly lived in Grenada, Mississippi before she moved to Russellville. She was a member of Grenada First Baptist Church and attended Southside Baptist Church in Russellville. Paulette was a devoted loving mother and a retired school cafeteria worker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joe Norris; a sister, Nan Cunningham; and a brother, Don Morris.

She is survived by three daughters, Paula Norris “Ricky” McDougle, of Russellville, Alabama, Janet Norris Fondren, of Richton, Mississippi, and Carmen Norris “Alec” Klapper, Nashville, Tennessee; a son, Ron “Laura” Norris, Tuscaloosa, Alabama; a sister, Kay “D.R.” Barefield, Bruce, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Spencer Mullens, Patrick Fondren, Jordan Fondren, Addie Klapper, Cade Klapper, Morgan House, and Emily Norris.

Visitation was Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017 at Old Field Methodist Church from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Rapers Chapel Cemetery with Brother Craig McCormick officiating.

Pallbearers were Jason Barefield, Jason Church, Kenny Cottingham, Patrick Fondren, Alec Klapper, Todd Morris, and Tommy Williamson.
