A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and again on Monday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on July 29, 1949, in Maury County, Paulette was the daughter of the late Eugene Derryberry and the late Juanita Maxwell Derryberry. She worked as a 911 dispatch operator for twenty-five years, retiring as a supervisor. She loved to crochet and also enjoyed painting, taking pictures, working crossword puzzles, and playing solitaire. She loved animals and her beloved family, especially her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her brothers, Troy Derryberry of Lewisburg, David “Butch” Derryberry of Columbia, Dennis (Cindy) Derryberry of Pulaski, sisters, Edna “Snookie” Hardison of Columbia, Beverly Primm of Columbia, sixteen nieces and nephews, twenty-five great nieces and nephews, and twenty-three great great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Juanita McKennon, sisters in law, Judy Derryberry and Pat Derryberry, and brothers in law, David Hardison, Jerry Primm, and Bobby McKennon.
Pallbearers will be David Derryberry, Chase Cribbs, Scott Spurlock, Ronnie Reed, Terry Primm Tiffany Cribbs, and Kayla Byrd. Honorary pallbearers will include Johnathan Cox and Kris Webber.
