Paula Adon Boyles, a dedicated homemaker who lovingly raised her children and grandchildren, passed away on May 22, 2024, at the age of 77. She was born in Russellville, Alabama on December 13, 1946, where she resided until moving to Orange Beach in 2021. Nana, as she was lovingly referred to, spent her life caring for her family with unwavering love and devotion; this was the hallmark of her beautiful spirit. She was known for her kindness, warmth, and selflessness, always putting the needs of her loved ones above her own. A talented pianist, she began playing at an incredibly early age and continued to share her gift with the church throughout her life. Her graceful touch on the keys brought joy and solace to all who had the privilege of listening. Her love of music was also passed down to her first grandson Tyler who received his degree in music and remains passionate about his musical instruments. Having a servant’s heart, she impacted many young children through years of bible class instruction as well as a loyal VBS volunteer.

Paula aspired to be an equestrian after years of living on the farm and was especially fond of her son Chad’s horse named Touchess. She and Chad spent countless hours riding and she loved watching him rope and rodeo. When her grandchildren came along, she fell in love with each one and they became her light. Even more joy arrived when she received the gift of great grandchildren from Madalyn and Megan. She created countless cherished memories with her family especially when it came to cheering on her beloved University of Alabama football team. She was so proud when her youngest grandson Conner not only chose her favorite school but became part of the Crimson Tide football team.

Paula is survived by her children; Teresa Wilkerson (David) Orange Beach, Al , Chad Warhurst (Jennifer ) Russellville, Al ; her grandchildren; Tyler Long (Molly) Killen, Al, Grace Wilkerson of Orange Beach, Al, Megan Vincent (Taylor) Russellville, Al , Madalyn Seay (Caleb) Russellville, Al and Conner Warhurst of Tuscaloosa, Al ; and her great grandchildren; Caelynn Seay and Rafe Vincent; Siblings; Phyllis Sockwell of Baytown, TX and Mick Boyles (Marj) Greenville, SC. Niece; Christy Duncan of Indianapolis, IN; Nephews; Scott Sockwell (Lillian) Baytown, TX, Shawn Sockwell (Denise) Baytown, TX. Paula is now reunited in heaven with her Father and Mother, Luther and Paulene Boyles and will be forever remembered for her enduring love and the profound impact she had on the lives of those around her. While Parkinsons took her physical ability, her spirit and love of the Lord never wavered.

A memorial service will be held at Pinkard Funeral Home by the family to celebrate her life. Graveside service will immediately follow at her final resting place, Franklin Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to Bro. Eddie Wix for officiating and Deanna Hollimon for accompaniment at the ceremony. Honorary pallbearers for the service are Kendall Seale and Scott Seal.
