Paul Wayne Holt, age 85, of Elkmont, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Limestone Health Facility. He was born on May 27, 1939, in Limestone County, Alabama to Roy Holt and Oma Powers Holt.
Mr. Holt is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Barbara Sanders Holt; children Karen Pressnell (Dennis) and Darrell Holt (Sebrina); grandchildren Andrea Pressnell, Olivia Pressnell, Samantha Pressnell, and Victoria Pressnell; great-grandchild Madelyn White; sister Alice Long; and niece Lisa Pugh (Tom) and family.
Mr. Holt is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Oma Holt; and nephew Lynn Ballew.
The funeral service for Mr. Holt will be Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, at 2:00 p.m., with Steve Ferguson and Bobby George officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, August 1, from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m., at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Andy Pugh, Samuel Pugh, Bubba Broadway, Keith Morell, Doug Morell, and Brian Morell. Burial will be at Hodges Cemetery.
Mr. Holt enjoyed drag racing, and fishing with family and friends.
