Funeral service for Paul Waddell, 67, will be Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shane Brent, Bro. Walter Blackman and Bro. Ed King officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery (South of Danville). Visitation will be Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Waddell died on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born December 17, 1946, in Morgan County to Oscar Waddell and Maybel Prince Waddell. Mr. Waddell was formerly employed by, and retired from, Monsanto, after 37 years of service as an Engineering Executive. He was the owner of Waddell’s Seafood in Hartselle. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His children stated, “Dad will not only be remembered for his tremendous love for his family, but also for the surrounding communities”.
