PAUL T. JONES
was born in Scotts Hill, Tennessee on January 3, 1920 the son of the late Lloyd and Ida Holland Jones.
Mr. Jones served his country in the United States Air Force which he was Airplane Mechanic and Crew Chief. He worked for Piggly Wiggly for over 20 years and worked for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas. Mr. Jones was also a truck driver and he retired from TVA. He was a member of Liberty Church of Christ.
On May 10, 1955 he was united in marriage to Rachel Brown, who survives.
Mr. Jones departed this life on February 13, 2014 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 94 years, 1 month and 10 days.
In addition to his wife Rachel of Adamsville, Tennessee, he is survived by his children, Fred Jones of Savannah, Tennessee, Teresa Jones of Adamsville, Tennessee, Rhoda Talley of Pratville, Alabama, Lloyd Jones of Savannah, Tennessee, Kim Shelby and her husband Phillip of Savannah, Tennessee and Sharon Stanley of Norman, Oklahoma
13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild
In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was also preceded in death by one daughter, Faye Couch , one infant son, Jimmy Paul Jones and one brother, Claude Jones.
