A Celebration of Life service for Paul T. Cornelius, 82 of Corinth, MS, will be Sunday, November 8, 2020 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East with interment to follow at Dogwood Cemetery. Bro. Eddie McFalls will officiate the service. Visitation will be Sunday, November 8, 2020 from 12:00 noon until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Masks and social distancing are required. Mr. Cornelius passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. He was born May 22, 1938 in Corinth, MS to Mark Marvin Cornelius and Annie Kate Wheeler Cornelius. He was a retired truck driver and of the Christian faith. Paul is survived by his wife, Betty Cornelius of Corinth, MS; 5 grandchildren, Denisha Lane (Kevin), Natasha Keith (Jeff), Jody Sarris (Jennifer), Briana Hammel and James Cerar; 14 great grandchildren, Alexis Lane, Jordan Lane, Emma Keith, Blake Keith, Logan Keith, Cody Sarris, Jayden Sarris, Hannah Sarris, Riley Hummel, Wesley Hummel and 4 on the way; 4 step grandchildren; his brother, Johnny Cornelius of Corinth, MS; his sisters, Bonnie Strickland of Corinth, MS and Ruth Pence (Roger) of Corinth, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Tina T. Cerar and Paula T. Sarris; his father, Mark M. Cornelius; his mother, Annie Kate Wheeler Cornelius; his brothers, William Cornelius and James Cornelius and his sisters, Christine Cornelius, Liz Cornelius, Margaret Cornelius and Grace Griffin. Pallbearers will be Jody Sarris, Jeff Keith and Kevin Lane. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored the serve the family of Mr. Paul T. Cornelius.
