Paul attended Highland Baptist Church for 46 years. He served as a deacon, served in the television and media ministry, and on the security team. He loved his family, his church family, and his friends. One of his many wonderful characteristics was his friendliness and how freely and loyally he loved people. Paul had a not-so-hidden talent of being able to talk to anybody about anything, at great length.
Later in life, he enjoyed playing golf with his son-in-law, Justin, and his many buddies, including Ivan Fike and his life-long best friend, Johnnie Burke.
Above all else, Paul treasured his relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus. He had an unquenchable thirst for scripture and following Jesus as closely as possible. If he were here with us today, his question to you would be “Do you have a relationship with Jesus?” And if your answer is no, please reach out to HighlandBaptist.com today.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 12th, at Highland Baptist Church from 11a.m. to 1p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Officiating will be Dr. John Brock. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
