Paul Madison McLain, 66, of Fort Payne, Alabama, formerly of Fairhope, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023. He was born March 11, 1957 in Mobile, Alabama to the late James Madison McLain and Beatrice Taylor McLain. Mr. McLain was a 1975 graduate of University Military School now named UMS-Wright and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama. He retired from the Social Security Administration of Fairhope. After retirement, he enjoyed volunteer work at various State and National Park campgrounds. Mr. McLain served as an Elder of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and attended Grace Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Fort Payne.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 6th at Grace Presbyterian Church with burial following in Fischer Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday at Grace Presbyterian Church from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. hour of service.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Robin Whiting McLain; daughter Taylor McLain Brown and husband Elijah of Trussville, AL; and son Paul R.
McLain and wife Porsha of Powder Springs, GA.
