Paul Lawrence McKinney, 62, of Fort Payne, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 at his home. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Paul was an avid Alabama fan, the world’s best Papaw, and a true American Patriot.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 p.m. until the 4 p.m. hour of service.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years Cindy McKinney; children Justin Heath McKinney and Amber Rose-bud McKinney (fiancée Mark Sartain); grandchildren Rylan Scott-Paul Craton, Joseph Tanner Craton, Adalia Lee Sartain, and Aubree Grace McKinney; brothers Donnie McKinney and Lee McKinney; and sister Tammy Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Ruby McKinney.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
