  Paul Kenneth "Dago" Meserole Profile PhotoMr. Paul Kenneth “Dago” Meserole, 90, of Cordova, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024, at his residence.

Paul served in the Army in the 1950’s as a military police office. He was initiated into the Cordova Masonic Lodge 559 F. & A. M. on September 17, 1964, he was passed to Fellow Craft on March 23, 1973, and raised to Sublime Degree of Master Mason on April 21, 1973. He became a member of the Shrine Club in 1973 and was very instrumental in the formation of the Walker County Shrine Club. He also served as the unit director of the Shrines Big Motor Core. He served as the Chief of Police at Cordova in the 1970’s and served as Chief Investigator for the Walker County District Attorney’s office.

Mr. Meserole is preceded in death by his father William Paul “Tony” Meserole; mother Bertie Venable Meserole; and daughter Paula Snow Meserole.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Meserole; daughter Shanda Birdsey (Patrick); sons Tony Paul Meserole and Wayne Trammell (Georgia); granddaughter Raven Meserole; and great granddaughters Alivia Rae, Avery Snoe, and Ada Lee.

Services: Visitation will be held Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Sam Hood Memorial Chapel, with a memorial service following at 3:00 PM. The Harold Daniels will officiate.
