Mr. Paul J. Fowler Mr. Paul J. Fowler, 76, of Hollytree, Alabama, died on Saturday, February 1, 2020. He was a meat market manager and a retired timber cutter/logger. He loved being outdoors gardening and mowing grass. He enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and friends, talking and hanging out, with everyone. He especially liked to hide oatmeal crème pies from his grandchildren. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior on January 13, 2020.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Lynn Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Clay Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Eva Carolyn Fowler; daughters, Denice (Shawn) Williams and Freida Hinshaw; grandchildren, Courtney Williams, Camra, Cadence, and Connor Hinshaw; sisters, Maverine Autry, Betty Jo (Bob) Cooper, Ida Mae Jones, and Kathleen Newsome; brother, Johnny (Paulette) Fowler; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Wesley Fowler and grandson, Timothy Chad Swafford.
