Paul Haynes Pennington, age 71, husband of Elizabeth Pennington, and a resident of Williamsport, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at 1:30 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Brandon Cochran officiating. A visitation will also be held on Sunday from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on September 11, 1952, in Maury County, Tennessee, Paul was the son of the late Custer Pennington and the late Effie Owens Pennington. He married Elizabeth DiUlio on July 28, 1973. An avid outdoorsman, Paul enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, camping, gardening, kayaking, and relic hunting for arrowheads. He was passionate about woodworking and making things and found pleasure in traveling to the beach, relishing the ocean and enjoying seafood. He had a special love for his beloved dogs, Pepper and Missy May.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Brian (Carolyn) Pennington of Murray, KY, brother, James Pennington of Williamsport, TN, sister, Myrtle A. Smith of Westerville, OH, and nieces and nephews, Sheila (Ed) Tratter of Westerville, OH, Clayton Tratter of Akron, OH, Hunter Tratter of Akron, OH, Karen Patterson of Spring Hill, TN, Jim Pennington of Hampshire, TN, Jared Valenti of Walker, LA, Chandler Anglin of Florida, and Jordan Parker of Louisiana.
