buddyFuneral service for MSGT Paul F. “Buddy” Tapscott , 73, will be Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Bro. Clyde Ledlow and Rev. Joey Coots officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in the adjacent Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Church.

Mr. Tapscott died on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born July 9, 1942, in Morgan County to Clarence Paul Tapscott and Frances Catherine Wiley Tapscott. Mr. Tapscott served with the U.S. Army for almost 30 Years. He was a Mason and a Gideon and was a licensed a pilot. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife: Betty Sue Clines Tapscott, a daughter: Joy Tapscott Tomlinson and a sister: Shirley Tapscott Johnson. Family wishes to express a special thanks to Daina Horton for her love and support.
