Paul Earnest Rigsby, age 79 of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at his residence. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and the United States Postal Service.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Joy Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Rigsby was preceded in death by his Wife-Betty Jo Rigsby; Parents-Al and Luria Rigsby; Sister-Sally Crocker; Brothers-Don Rigsby, Joe Rigsby, Curt Rigsby, MacArthur Rigsby and Bobby Rigsby.
He is survived by his Daughter-Melissa Norton (Sanford); Son-Steve Rigsby; Sisters-Betty Robbins, Sylvia Lay (Kenneth) and Patsy Stricklin (Jerry); Brothers-J.L. Rigsby (Janis), Jake Rigsby, Wendell Rigsby (Martha), Harold David Rigsby (Johnnie); Grandchildren-Meyka Leigh Rigsby and Shawn Rigsby; Great Grandchildren-Nyla Brook Kendrick and Halana Lee Rigsby.
Pallbearers will be Brandon McGaughy, Shawn Rigsby, Jeff Rigsby, Jason Rigsby, Jamie Rigsby and Chad Rigsby.
