A Celebration of Life Service for Paul Durham, 82 of Walnut, Ms, will be Monday, April 10, 2023 at 11:00 A .M. at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ronald Wilbanks will officiate the service. Visitation will be Sunday, April 9, 2023 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Monday, April 10, 2023 from 10:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Mr. Durham passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born September 24, 1940 in Iuka, MS to Riddley Durham and Bessie Martin Durham. He was the owner of Durham’s One Stop and was a member of Theo Holiness Church. The Stakers was the gospel group he traveled and sang with for many years. He also had a home church group he played and sang with. Music and singing was his passion in life. He enjoyed collecting and working on classic cars, especially his 1956 Ford Pickup. He loved his train layout collections. Paul is survived by his wife of 55 years, Veta Lassiter Durham; his daughter, Sabrina Scribner; 2 grandchildren, Stephen Scribner and Jacob Scribner; his sister-in-law, Lynda Smith and husband Gerald; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Riddley Durham and his mother, Bessie Martin Durham. Pallbearers will be, Jeff Morelock, Jeremy Roach, Scott Roach, Phil Jolly and James Box. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Paul Durham.
