of Prospect, Tennessee passed away Friday evening, April 5th, 2024 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems Pulaski surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 30th, 1939 in Franklin, Tennessee and was 85 years old.
Paul was a graduate of Franklin High School class of 1957. He and his wife Betsy moved to Giles County in 1973 and established Willow Oaks Farms in Prospect, Tennessee. Paul and his family have continued the farm operations from the dairy operation to beef cattle and row crop operations today. Paul served on the Giles County Co-Op Board, Select Sires Board, Richland Creek Environmental Association, along with other community boards helping Giles County. Paul was a longtime supporter of Giles County High School Football and an avid University of Tennessee fan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many.
The visitation will be 11:00am to 2:00pm Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery,

Paul was preceded in death by his parents Samuel Leonard and Eula Blanch Clark Edgmon along with his brother Don Edgmon and his sister Dorothy King.

His wife of 63 years Betsy King Edgmon of Prospect, Tennessee.
Son, Chris (Vickie) Edgmon of Prospect, Tennessee.
Son, Phil Edgmon of Prospect, Tennessee.
Daughter, Susan (Randy) Coffman of Thompson’s Station, Tennessee.
Grandchildren, Carson (Caitlin) Edgmon of Prospect, Tennessee. Sam (Sara Beth) Edgmon of Knoxville, Tennessee. Ben (Kristina) Coffman of Birmingham, Alabama. Leslie (Jeff) Nielsen of Spring Hill, Tennessee.
Great-grandchildren, Clarke, Knox, and Hall Edgmon.
Brother, Jack (Martha Ann) Edgmon of Burns, Tennessee.
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
