Graveside service for Paul Abner Wright, age 88, of Northlake, TX, who died April 6, 2014, in Corinth, TX, will be Saturday, April 12, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home of Lewisville, TX on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Wright was born May 7, 1925, in Los Angeles, CA to William V. Wright and Eva Mae Nay Wright. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Frances Prater Wright, and one daughter, Elizabeth Wright. He is survived by one daughter, Frances “Frankie” Duval of Northlake, TX; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Paul grew up in Nebraska, and married Frances Prater on June 21, 1946. A loyal family man, friend, and WWII Army veteran, Paul knew the value of hard work. He graduated from Florida State University with a degree in baking science, eventually becoming Vice President of Production for Campbell Taggart. Throughout his life, he faced many hardships with a smile, and never stopped learning. Paul will forever be remembered as a kind, caring man who was always there to help his family and friends. His sense of humor and positive outlook will be missed.
