Pastor Paul A Little, Jr., age 61, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 17, 2020, at Huntsville Hospital in Alabama surrounded by his immediate family.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and so much more to so many people. Throughout his working career he held many positions with the majority of them as a scheduler/analyst. His passion in life was his love for Christ, his family, his church, and his community. He served the Lord faithfully as evidenced by his 30 plus years in the ministry. At the time of his death, he was the senior pastor at New Life Community Fellowship in New Market, Alabama. In addition to being a dedicated pastor, Paul positively affected every community in which he lived by giving of his time, energy, and talents. He will be remembered by those who knew him for many wonderful things, but mostly for his servant’s heart.
One of Paul’s greatest joys in his life came when all his children and grandchildren would stay at the house during the holidays. Hearing the sounds of every room full of laughter and love made his heart full, as this reminded him of how blessed he truly was.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lisa Little; four children; Paul A (Melydia) Little III, Jonathan (Lauren) Little, Heather (Andy) Cole, Christopher (Rachel) Little; and his twelve grandchildren, Jovie, Paul Allan, Camden, Krista, Hannah, Ruby, Lily, Addison, Callie, Lydia, Abbie, and Cooper who deeply loved their “Papa”. He is also survived by his father, Paul A (Beverly) Little Sr.; mother, Patricia (Jack Skowronski) Oliver; brothers, Peter (Cindy) Little, Michael (Katrina) Little; sisters, Paula (Keith) Smith, Debbie Little; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Because of Covid-19 restrictions, the family is planning a Celebration of Life in the near future. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve and will announce the service details when circumstances allow.
