Patty Gayle McCluskey, aged 68, of Athens, peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 20th, 2025, at Hospice Family Care. Born on March 23rd, 1956, in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Irene McCluskey.
Mrs. McCluskey is lovingly remembered by her sister Mary Clem, Faye Carter (Danny), and Patsy Wilson. Additionally, she is survived by several nieces and nephews, a special friend Ricky Hall, and her cherished great-niece and nephew, Pais Smith and Maverick Carter, whom she adored.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Jerry Brummitt; and sisters Frances McDowell, Judy Mitchell, and Brenda Robinson.
A graveside service in honor of Mrs. McCluskey will be held on Sunday, March 23rd, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Lentzville Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation on the same day from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Dwight Brummitt, Lindsey Bradford, Ricky Hall, Randy Carter, Danny Carter, and Bradley Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Robertson, Michael Robertson, and Chris Robinson.
Patty was a special lady known for her love of cutting grass and her deep devotion to her family. She was a loving sister and a friend to all who knew her. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Patty truly loved people, and her presence will be dearly missed by all.
