Patty Ann Norwood Baskins, 59, of Florence passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023, after an extended illness. She was born on October 28, 1963. Visitation will be Sunday, June 18, 2023, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Morrison Funeral Home , Central Heights. The funeral will begin immediately after with Jim Murphy officiating. Interment will be at Rhodesville cemetery.
Patty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lynn Baskins of 32 years; parents, Henry and Helen Norwood; mother-in-law, Lorene Baskins; father-in-law Doyle Baskins; sister-in-law, Sheila Baskins; brothers-in-law, David Baskins and Roger Dean.
Patty leaves behind her son, Craig and daughter-in-law, Jewel Baskins, and two beautiful grandchildren, Evelyn and Guy Baskins; brother, Henry Norwood; sister, Marilyn Cummins (Billy) Sister-in-law, Shirley Dean, brother-in-law, Bobby Baskins (Vickey); numerous nieces and nephews, an abundance of family, friends, and her Tasus work family.
She was a loving wife, mother, Maw maw, and always wanted to help others in need. The love, generosity, and kindness during Patty’s illness will never be forgotten. Each of you will have a special place in the hearts of our family. A special thanks to Clearview cancer institute, doctors, staff, and Southern Care Beacon hospice for all the compassion, love, and prayers during treatment.
Pallbearers will be her Tasus work family.
