Patsy J. Harris, 71, of Kenosha, WI, formerly of Russellville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at the Hospice House.
She was born on October 26, 1942, to the late George and Mildred (Carrithers) Tharp in Colbert County, Alabama. On May 2, 1959, she married Williams Harris in Kenosha. He preceded her in death in 1999.
Patsy worked at AMC/Chrysler for 13 years. She enjoyed keeping up her home and going to flea markets; but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Patsy is survived by her loving son Billy (Roxanne) Harris of Kenosha; her loving daughter Linda (Kenneth) Liebergen of Hartfort; her grandchildren, Daniel Harris, Caitlin Holewinski, Samantha (Tom Robbins, Matthew Holewinski and Timothy Harris; her brothers, Bobby Joe Taylor of Littleville, Alabama, and Jimmy Tharp of Bell Buckle, Tennessee; and her sister, Bonnie Johnson of Decatur, Alabama.
She is preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Taylor; her sisters, Betty McCluskey and Joyce Nelson and a sister in infancy.
Funeral services for Patsy will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2014, at 1:00 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Halltown Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m.
