Patsy Gipson Woods, age 79, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Marshall Medical Center.
She was born September 3, 1944, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Edward and Bessie Brewer Blasingim. She was a member of Cornersville Church of Christ. She enjoyed working in her flowers, watching birds from her rocking chair and watching UT Vols basketball.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert Gipson and Doug Woods; sister, Jewel Wright; brothers Lonnie Blasingim and Edward Blasingim.
She is survived by two daughters, Penny (Mike) Smith, Dallas, GA, and Tracy (Gary) Haskins, Lewisburg; grandchildren, Justin (Carolanne) King, Joshua (Mackenzie) King, Jessica (Chris) King Gilliam, and Zachary Smith; great grandchildren, Weston, Mattie King and William King; sisters Wyvonne Ray, Summertown and Pam Harrison, Lewisburg; brother, Glynn Blasingim, Hermitage.
Visitation with the family will be held at Cornersville Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will continue on Thursday, May 23, 2024, until the funeral hour.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in New Hope Ostella Cemetery.
