Patsy Burton, age 69 of Gallatin, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024. Funeral Service will be Monday, August 12th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Bro. Robbie Kirkham officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, August 11th from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Halltown Cemetery, with Blake Hunter, Lexton Sutton, Chris Conner, Mitchell Horton, Charlie Guthrie, Samson Hutcheson, John Burton, and Rylan Raper serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wolf Hill Baptist Church, 1937 US Hwy 231-S, Bethpage, TN 37022.
Mrs. Burton was born March 13, 1955, in Nashville to the late Junior Purcell and Violet Harlow Purcell. She is survived by husband of 22 years, Andy Burton of Gallatin; children, David Mitchell Hutcheson of Lafayette, Wesley Hutcheson (Kelly) of Fayetteville, Mellisa Burton of Gallatin, and Aaron Burton of Gallatin; daughter-in-law, Shannan Hutcheson of Shelbyville; brothers, Glenn Purcell (Danette) of LaVergne and Jackie Purcell (Terri) of Nashville; and grandchildren, Samson Hutcheson, Avery Hutcheson, Elin Faulkner, and Abby Faulkner.
