Patsy Ann Lowery Frazier passed away peacefully on December 9, 2023 after a brave battle with lung disease, surrounded by her adoring family.
To say that Patsy was a caring person is an enormous understatement – she was the epitome of a loving, caring, giving mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother,
sister and aunt.
Patsy’s passions changed over the years. In high school, she drew fashion designs that rivaled professional drawings. When she became a mom, she designed &
sewed her daughter’s Barbie clothes that were envied by all. She enjoyed collecting antiques, including dolls, porcelains, figurines & unusual glass. Patsy not only
loved & grew flowers, especially roses, she began painting beautiful still lifes of flowers in her later years.
Patsy was born in Jackson, Alabama on July 21, 1944. Her family moved to Atmore, Alabama when she was in grammar school. She graduated from Escambia County
High School, where she was loved by her classmates, leader of the daily prayer, cheerleader and enjoyed club participations. She worked at Long Motor Company
after high school and was Director of the Red Cross in Atmore in the early 80’s.
Patsy married her faithful and loving husband, Charles Frazier of Atmore, on May 23, 1964. They have had a wonderful marriage, doting on their two sons and
daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They lived in various locations in Alabama due to Charles’s job with Alabama Power Co., retiring on a quaint fishing
lake near Evergreen and most recently near Lake Guntersville to be near their daughter. Patsy did enjoy fishing, but enjoyed fish fries more, since she was a wonderful
cook!
Patsy will forever be remembered and missed by not only her family, but also anyone who was lucky enough to befriend her.
Patsy is predeceased by Patsy Ann Lowery Frazier
