Patrick H. “Pat” Crawley – Obituary

Patrick H. “Pat” Crawley will be remembered for his caring personality and willingness to help anyone in need. He treated everyone like a good friend, regardless of if he knew them or not. He loved everyone and will be greatly missed but his legacy will never be forgotten. Pat left behind a legacy of positive and selfless actions that will forever leave a mark on anyone who has ever had the privilege to know him.

Pat was born on May 14, 1960 and passed away peacefully on December 25, 2017. Born in Hickory, NC, he was the son of Floyd and Katharine Kanupp Crawley.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his soulmate, Shena Ervin of Selmer, TN; seven children: Samantha Hoppe and husband Dillon of Rice, MN, Melissa Chambers and husband Chris of Derry, NH, Patrick Crawley and wife Jessica of Nashua, NH, Ashley Ervin Whirley and husband Jay of Selmer, TN, T.J. Ervin of Selmer, TN, Austin Ervin and wife Kaley of Henderson, TN, Ainsley Ervin of Selmer, TN; four grandchildren: Tuesday Ervin, Jamisyn Whirley, Reuben Crawley, and Noah Chambers. Two sisters, Kathrina Conwell and husband Randy of Hickory, NC, Kate Hall and husband Chris of Hickory, NC; a niece, Kaydence Hall; very special family friends, Matt Cook and Hunter Pearson, and lots of extended family and friends who loved him and he loved very much.

Memorial Services will be held on December 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer, Tennessee, with Keith Cagle officiating.
