patPatricia “Pat” Rebecca Lamb Hussey, 78, of Iuka, Mississippi, went to meet her Lord on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Mrs. Hussey was born September 9, 1936, in Tupelo, to A. W. “Red” and Lucille Montgomery Lamb. She attended and graduated from Plantersville School where she met her husband, Joe Hussey. She was the angel of his life and they were married for sixty-one and a half years. Joe and Pat established Iuka Discount Drugs in 1974, and later she was the owner of The House of Fashion in downtown Iuka. Pat had a knack for making others feel special. She loved her yard, especially planting flowers. Known as “Granny” by her grandsons and great-grandchildren, she was very involved in their activities, and loved spoiling them. She had several “grand-dogs”, and each held a special place in her heart. Mrs. Hussey was a member of the Iuka United Methodist Church where she was a choir member. She was also an avid bridge player. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.., Thursday, April 16, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 17, at the Iuka United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Kerry Powell and Rev. Tim Green. Interment will follow in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery in Verona. Pallbearers include Bill Moore, Johnny Rhodes, Cliff Rhodes, Billy McKissick, Lynn Turner, and Shad Lamb. Honorary pallbearers will be her bridge club. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Joe Hussey of Iuka; two daughters, Charlotte Cornelison (Rick) of Iuka, and Cindy Smith (Ken) of Saltillo; two grandsons, Chris Cornelison (Janet) of Iuka, and Brad Cornelison (Amy) of Pontotoc; and four great-grandchildren, Alex and Megan Cornelison of Iuka, and Nathan and Cooper Cornelison of Pontotoc; one sister, Margaret Lamb Turner of Eggville; and one brother, Doug Lamb (Ellen) of Tupelo. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law, Tommy Turner. Memorials may be made to the Iuka United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 101 E.
