Patricia “Pat” Miller age 80, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her home with family at her side on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at her residence.
Patricia was born December 14, 1944, in Russellville, Alabama, to William “Bill” Keelon and Rose Estelle Fisher. She was a devout Christian and attended North Highlands Church of Christ for many years. Patricia loved her family dearly and expressed that through her cooking. She loved getting together with them to prepare big meals for her family and friends. Her kind, caring, and loving demeanor was inviting to all who’s lives she touched. Patricia was well traveled as she enjoyed her cruises greatly. Patricia enjoyed sewing, making a lovely home, and taking care of her animals.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, where the service will be held 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens in Russellville, Alabama. Jeff Johnson and Doug Clement will officiate.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 58 years, Wayne Miller; son, Brian (Rhonda) Miller; daughter, Michelle (Rodney “Tom”) Rogers; grandsons, Jacob (Brittany) Rogers, Ian Miller; granddaughter, Avary Miller; sisters, Brenda Parker, Rhonda Keelon, Tina Keelon (Robert) York; brothers, William (Emily) Keelon Jr., Jerry (Marilyn) Keelon, Jamie (Kim) Keelon; brother-in-law, James Presley; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill” Keelon and Rose Estelle Welch; sister, Melanie Presley; and brother-in-law, Tommy Parker.
