Patricia Maddox Casper – Obituary

Patricia Maddox Casper, 62, of Decatur, passed away July 25, 2013. The funeral will be Sunday, July 28, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Burningtree Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home.

Patricia was retired from Redstone Arsenal as a price/cost analyst. She was a graduate of Austin High School and Auburn University.

Patricia was born March 24, 1951, in Decatur to Earl Milton Maddox and Mary Pauline Maddox. She was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church, and a member of the Encouragers Sunday school class. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, traveling, and finding antique treasures. The only thing she loved more than her family were her animals and Auburn football.

Patricia is survived by her son, Robert Earl Casper and his wife, Tanisha, of Decatur; daughter, Ellen Casper Moon of Birmingham; granddaughters, Odrae Gabreale Casper and Vaya Annabel Casper; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice Family Care, 3304 Westmill Drive, Huntsville, AL 35805.
