Patricia Jones passed away on December 6, 2024 at age 84. The Celebration of Life will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Brother Scott Moore will officiate. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m.
Patricia Ann Allen Jones was born in Ider AL to Ruby Pearl Veal Allen and Oren Allen. She married Jay Jones and together they made a life and raised their children. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, flower gardening, and crocheting. Pat worked for many years as a cook for Johnson Retirement Center.
Mrs. Jones is survived by children: Rhonda Bush, Eddie (Vicky) Jones, Gregg Jones, and Gidget Doyle; grandchildren: Lori, Jennifer, Shayna, Casey, Jami, and Heather; brother: Ray (Ester) Allen; half-sister: Sandra Simmons; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews in Chattanooga and Sand Mountain Alabama and in Georgia. She is preceded in death by her husband James “Jay” Jones, grandchild Misty Jones, parents Ruby Black and Oren Allen, sisters Delores Tucker and Sue Earp, and brothers J.B. Allen, Doyle Allen, Alvis Allen, and Bobby Allen.
