Funeral services for Patricia Gay Mitchell, age 58, of Lineville will be held on Monday January 8, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland with Bro. Billy East and Bro. David Holcombe officiating, burial will follow at Fairview Poplar Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell attended McKinney Learning Academy when she was younger and went on to become a homemaker. She had to receive dialysis but she always was there to help anyone. She loved spending time with her family. In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, she also loved to color, do puzzles and enjoyed her dolls. She was a big animal lover, especially her dog Tiny.
She is survived by her sisters Sherry Rose Mitchell, Charlene Pat (Norman), Mavis Ann Mitchell, and Joyce Ann Smith all of Lineville; her brothers James Gaither Mitchell (Lynn), and Robert James Mitchell both of Lineville; her nieces, April Mitchell, Leanne Mitchell, Christine Miles; Nephews, Eddy Smith and Dusty Miles (Ocean); her great nephew Jessie Mitchell and great nieces, Viper Miles, Moon Miles, and Blaze Miles; and a special friend, John Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Gaither Mitchell and Mavis Ruth Shirey Mitchell, and a sister Elizabeth Diane Mitchell.
Active pallbearers will be John Smith, Norman Winfield, Eddie Smith, Hugh Maddox, Dustin Miles, and Robert Green.
Visitation will be held on Sunday January 7, 2024 from 5:30-8:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland and until service time on Monday.
