Patricia Diane Barber, 65, of Glen, Mississippi, died on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Southern Magnolia Estates in Iuka. Patricia was of the Christian faith and was a member of The Bridge in Burnsville. She was an amazing woman that was always positive and smiling. She loved everyone she ever met and could find the good in anybody. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing and going for walks with her walking stick. More than anything though, Patricia loved her family and taking care of them. One of her favorite things to do was watch her grandkids play ball. Patricia is survived by her children, Sabrina Ligon (Tyler) and Derek Barber (Haley); her grandchildren, Alaina Hyde, Cash Hyde, Weslyn Barber, and Wyatt Barber; her siblings, Betty Whitaker, Nelda King (Carlous), Lester “Bud” Tucker, and J.D. “Jake” Tucker; and a host of other loved family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Barber, Jr.; her parents, Bonnie Ruth and Lester Tucker; and her siblings, Ruby “Doley” Burns, Bobby Joe Tucker, and Mary “Tootsie” Marlar. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at The Bridge in Burnsville. Visitation will continue beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at The Bridge in Burnsville, officiated by Bro. Billy Glover, Bro. James Rich, and Bro. Jeff Jones. Pallbearers include Ryan Glover, Brad Turner, Jake Turner, Chris Marlar, Wendall Marlar, Jason Burns, Coty Prather, and Jason Roberts. Burial will be in Grissom Chapel Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Patricia’s honor to the building fund at The Bridge in Burnsville.
