Patricia Davis Young, of Huntsville, AL, passed away peacefully at the home of Donnia Monroe and Sarah Major on March 8, 2014 after an extended illness. Patricia was a beloved mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter Regina Young Hall and beloved grandson, Justin Hall. She lived the majority of her life in Huntsville and served as secretary to the Trail Of Tears for twenty years. She will always be remembered for her uplifting and loving spirit (even on her worst days, she would make those around her smile), and the way she was always ready to defend and take up for the underdogs that crossed her path. The family would like to thank her wonderful caregivers Donnia Monroe and Sarah Major for making her last days more comfortable and pleasant. She is gone but never forgotten.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11th at Berryhill Funeral Home. Celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12th with Bro. Larry Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
