In the early hours of Saturday – March 20, 2021, Ms. Patricia Causey Holaway of Arab, Alabama transitioned and entered the Gates of Heaven at the age of 88 years.
Ms. Holaway was born on the 27 th of August in 1932 in Blount County, Alabama to the late Byron Causey and Thelma Lipham Causey. She was a devoted member of the New Canaan Baptist Church in Arab, Alabama and enjoyed partaking in many activities such as; reading, canning, gardening, bird watching, Auburn Football, Atlanta Braves Baseball and sitting on her patio; but above all, she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ms. Holaway will be forever remembered by her sons, Steven Holaway (Anna) and Mark Holaway (Anita); daughters, Donna Ennis (Pierce) and Pamela Jordan (James); brother, Don Causey (Loura); sisters, Maxine Jordan (Paul), Colleen Hayes, Mary George and Jan Smith (Jimmy Glenn); 10 grandchildren as well as 17 great grandchildren and one on the way.
In addition to her beloved parents; Ms. Holaway is at last reunited with her beloved husband Delton “Buck” Leon Holaway; son, Nicky Holaway; brother, Byron Causey and sister, Louise Snow.
A visitation will take place at the New Canaan Baptist Church in Arab, Alabama on Friday – March 26 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Funeral service will take place at the New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery in Arab, Alabama on Friday – March 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Jerry, officiating.
Interment will follow service immediately at the Adjoining Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers escorting Ms. Holaway to her final resting place will be: Nicholas Jordan, Justin Ennis, Andrew Ennis, John Edward Jordan, Luke Bailey, Austin Bailey and Walker Bailey.
